With continued investment and expansion, this is an exciting time to join a company evolving its systems, processes, and capabilities, offering employees the opportunity to develop, influence change, and grow with the business.The Junior Buyer is responsible for sourcing materials, managing suppliers and stock, and ensuring accurate, cost-effective procurement to support production and group-wide purchasing objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver best-value sourcing through effective negotiation of bespoke and standard componentsManage purchase orders and inventory via the MRP/ERP system to ensure uninterrupted supplyOptimise stock levels and consumables to balance availability, cost, and working capitalMaintain accurate procurement data, part numbers, and BOMs to support efficient productionResolve shopfloor procurement issues quickly to minimise disruptionBuild strong supplier relationships, managing cost, quality, delivery, and performanceIdentify, onboard, and review suppliers in line with ISO 9001 requirementsPartner with production and group procurement teams to deliver and report measurable cost savings across the groupWhat We''re Looking ForExperience in purchasing or supply chain within a manufacturing environmentStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsCommercially focused, with a track record in cost ..... full job details .....
