This role will be responsible for sourcing goods and services both in the UK and internationally, ensuring they are fit for purpose and aligned with business objectives.You will play a key role in driving cost savings, developing category strategies, and building strong supplier relationships to support ongoing business growth.Working Hours37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier and Contract ManagementNegotiate and maintain supply agreements to achieve best value and cost efficienciesUse market insight and negotiation expertise to deliver cost reductions and avoidancesContinuously review supplier performance and identify improvement opportunitiesSystems and Data ManagementMaintain accurate procurement data including pricing, lead times, and order quantitiesEnsure relevant technical drawings and specifications are correctly linked within systemsSourcing and New Product DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate new suppliers for components and servicesManage tender processes and supplier selection for new product developmentCoordinate prototype development, testing, and approvals with internal teamsEnsure product costings meet required profit marginsSupplier Evaluation and Relationship ManagementConduct supplier appraisals, including site visits where ..... full job details .....
