This is a hands-on procurement role, working closely with the Commercial and Operational teams to ensure projects are properly resourced, competitively procured and delivery efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing a wide range of civil engineering and groundworks materials, whilst developing string relationships with suppliers and negotiating the best possible commercial terms. As Buyer you will: Obtain and analyse supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates Source aggregates, concrete, drainage, utilities and general civils/groundworks materials Monitor orders, deliveries and supplier performance Work closely with Estimating and Commercial teams to ensure procurement aligns with project budgets Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships Resolve delivery, pricing and invoice queries Ensure materials and services are available in line with programme requirements Maintain accurate purchasing records and purchase orders Our client requires a Buy...
