Buy-Side Real Estate Asset Manager
As a Junior Real Estate Asset Manager, you will be involved in the strategic management and performance strategy of each asset, both from an AM and over-arching management perspective. With existing commercial Real Estate knowledge (ideally Offices / Mixed-Use), you will assist in recognising opportunities to retain and add value and will need excellent relationship management skills to engage blue-chip tenants.

The business has established itself as a trusted investor with AUM now north of $2bn, they continue to invest in super-prime commercial assets in major cities, providing excellent space to an enviable list of AAA / blue-chip Tenants.
Description
- Assist in the preparation of business plans, service charge budgets, forecasts, leases, renewals, analysis and approvals as required by the Head of Asset Management;
- Reviewing service charge budgets;
- Analysing acquisition targets;
- Manage requests for assignments, subleases and similar tenant requests.
- Liaising with the client accounting team and property managers to ensure all assets are operating efficiently;
- Working closely with 3rd party advisers to execute lease transactions where necessary; assisting with investment analysis and reporting;
- Producing high-quality reports on both a regular and ad-hoc basis;
- Perform periodic property site inspections to ensure property performance against business plans;
- Collect market data and conduct bench-marking analysis;
- Assist in the valuation of properties and investment reports annually or more frequently if necessary;
Profile
The successful Junior Real Estate Asset Manager should have / be:
- MRICS qualified.
- Undergraduate or MSc in Real Estate or a Built Environment subject
- Must have existing property management experience (ideally with some exposure to AM processes in addition).
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, with the ability to work as part of a tight-knit team.
- Exceptional organisational and follow-up skills, with the ability to multi-task and bring individual issues to timely closure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-centered, results-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, database management & reporting.
Job Offer
Basic Salary -55,000 to -60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
