Business Unit Manager wanted to join a global leader in engineering and manufacturing based in Coventry on a permanent basis, paying £80,000 - £100,000 per annum + fantastic benefits. We re looking for a hands-on Business Unit Manager to take charge of a key production stream working for a global leader in engineering and manufacturing. You ll be joining a highly respected organisation known for delivering cutting-edge solutions, maintaining industry-leading standards and being the best in class.As Business Unit Manager, you ll be responsible for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team performance making sure engineering components are delivered on time and to the highest standards.This role is about more than managing and overseeing production. You ll: Lead and inspire a large team leading by exampleCoach and develop your team Drive improvement by using Lean tools and techniques to reduce lead times, boost productivity, and eliminate waste. Deliver results by hitting sales plans, reducing costs, and improving customer satisfaction. Keep people safe and build a positive, can-do culture. Make decisions on budgets, staffing, and operations that directly impact annual turnover. Have full ownership of the business unit PandL, including cost analysis, margin growth, lead-time reduction, manufacturing productivity, and inventory management.
