Business Travel Consultant

Do you have experience of booking flights on a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo)? A reputable Birmingham based independent provider of corporate travel and sports tours is keen to recruit a business travel consultant on a 4 month contract. This is a varied role, providing business travel to a number of clients including sporting bodies, whether they need flights, accommodation or events. Salary up to £30k pro-rata.JOB DESCRIPTION:Working Monday to Friday this an office based role in North Birmingham (Fridays from home)Taking enquiries over the phone and also via e-mail regarding business travel arrangementsWorking on a key accounts, largely sporting bodies and dealing with some eventsBooking a wide variety of business travel requirements including flights, hotel, car hire, rail, transfers etcUtilising CRS Sabre to make reservationsOffering excellent customer service, building a rapport with the clientsExecuting duties according to the service level agreements for each clientEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:The successful candidate will ideally be GDS Sabre trained, (or they can cross-train from Galileo or Amadeus),with experience from a corporate travel or sports tours environment. You will be passionate about offering excellent service and going the extra mile.THE PACKAGE:Starting salary is circa £30k dependent on experience pro-rata for the contract.
