Business travel consultant - Out of hours

OverviewBusiness Travel Consultant – Out of Hours for GlobalTMC. Seeking an experienced travel professional from a corporate Travel management company or business travel background with GDS skills in Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus. This is a homebased role working a rotating OOH shift pattern to include evenings and weekends. Salary DOE but around £35/37k.

Responsibilities

Dealing with out of hours calls, booking complex worldwide travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car hire, rail as a BTC using Sabre

Changing and amending trips, issuing and reissuing tickets, and problem solving

Qualifications / Skills

Business Travel experience is essential as you will be dealing with out of hours and sometimes emergency enquiries.

Strong knowledge of a GDS (Sabre preferred; Galileo or Amadeus will be considered for an experienced BTC).

Ticketing and reissuing experience

Shifts are a 12 week rotating combination of the following:

Splits shift: 06:00 and 18:00 starts for 3.5 or 4.5 hours

Late shift: 17:00 starts for 7 hours

Weekends: 07:00, 08:00 or 12:00, 13:00 starts for 10 hours

No Through nights!

Weekends and Bank holidays – 2 full weekends off every 12 weeks with an additional 4 single weekend days. Bank holidays as per your working rota

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Ability to buy and sell holidays up to 5 extra days
