We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in Aylesbury on a full-time basis, starting in September 2025.
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5. You will motivate students to build strong business knowledge and critical thinking abilities, equipping them for success beyond the classroom.
About the Role:
- Develop and deliver dynamic Business Studies lessons that meet national curriculum standards.
- Create and maintain an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners.
- Track and assess student progress, offering timely and constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to continuously improve the Business Studies curriculum.
- Engage actively in staff training and ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Possess a degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the subject matter and solid knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Excellent skills in classroom management and effective communication.
- A genuine passion for engaging and motivating students, encouraging interest in business, economics, and enterprise.
