Business Support Officer

to join the team—someone organised, proactive, and detail-focused, with the ability to balance admin tasks and relationship building.About the Role:

As a Business Support Officer, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the team, helping us deliver high-quality services to participants. You’ll process referrals, schedule assessments, manage case records, and ensure our systems and procedures run smoothly. You’ll also support the development of our Knowledge Base and service directory, helping colleagues and partners access the information they need to support Service Users effectively.What You’ll Be Doing:

Processing referrals and chasing missing informationScheduling initial appointments for advisors either face to face or via videolink from custodyMaking and receiving calls with Service Users and external organisationsMaintaining accurate records, systems, and compliance checksBuilding strong relationships with colleagues, Service Users, and external partnersWhat We’re Looking For:

Experience in phone based customer service or administrative supportExcellent organisational and IT skills, including CRM systemsStrong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trustAn awareness of safeguarding processAdaptability, openness to learning, and a team-focused approachThe ability to remain calm and professional during challenging callsCommitment to confidentiality and inclusive practiceWe welcome applications from everyone and particularly encourage those with lived experience, those who are neurodiverse or veterans.
