We are looking for a proactive and resilient Business Support Coordinator to join our team at the Waste Recovery Park on the Isle of Wight. This role is central to supporting our Trade Waste team and will involve reporting and administrative tasks using the BARTEC system, along with regular use of Excel and other business systems.
About the Role:
In this fast-paced role, you will support our operational collections team with a range of business support and administrative duties. Responsibilities include:
- Creating and processing purchase orders, invoices, and other transactional documentation
- Logging and managing missed collections and Garden Waste activity in the BARTEC system
- Supporting Trade Waste operations, including the issuance of business permits
- Coordinating with Thalia''s Maintenance, Finance, Trade, and Operations teams to meet administrative needs
- Managing data input and reporting through Excel and other systems
- Producing daily and weekly performance reports
About You:
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident using IT systems, and has strong Excel skills. You will be able to handle high workloads, adapt to new tasks quickly, and work well within a team.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or business support role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Confident using business systems (experience with BARTEC is desirable but not essential)
- Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
