Position: Business Studies Teacher
Location: Near Shirley, Southampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with Potential for a Permanent Role)
Pay Range: andpound;160 - andpound;240 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am andndash; 4:00 pm



Overview:
An excellent secondary school located near Shirley, Southampton is seeking a Business Studies Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position offers the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of all abilities in developing their understanding of the business world and preparing them for future academic and career pathways.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Teach Business Studies to students in KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Support and challenge students of all abilities to achieve their best outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and share best practice.
  • Take part in school life, including extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and events.
