Business Studies Teacher Annual Salary: Competitive, in line with Teacher Pay Scale Location: Lancaster Job Type: Full-time, Long-term November start £174 - £243 per day We are seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Lancaster starting in September. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous. Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students. Maintain effective classroom management and discipline. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the teaching environment and educational experience. Participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events. Required Skills and Qualifications: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Recent and relevant experience teaching Business Studies at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial. Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
