The Business Strategy Manager, manufacturing industry intelligence, is responsible for managing and leading research and analysis and providing insights-based guidance and advice to middle and upper management. The role comprises working autonomously, as well as leveraging cross-functional subject matter experts and external consulting providers. As a Business Strategy Manager, manufacturing industry intelligence, you will partner with stakeholders from across the Business Industry Strategy team, product management, product development, marketing, strategic partnerships, and sales. To be successful, applicants need a solid grasp of the manufacturing industry in general, and the industrial software market specifically. In addition, the ability to combine excellent analytical skills and the ability to autonomously craft and communicate compelling insights to senior management is essential. This is a role with high visibility and impact on our business and go-to-market strategies for our manufacturing business.ResponsibilitiesDefine, build and work with analytical models, leveraging various internal and external sources of dataCreate compelling presentations and various other forms of communication to share insights and drive transformation and changeBuild a strong internal network with key stakeholders in a highly matrixed environmentContinuously further our insights into market developments, new technologies, strategic opportunities and risks in our marketAct as a center of excellence for industry insightsDeliver process improvements and ensure highest quality and robustness of output and deliverablesWork with a strong sense of accountability, self-motivation, attention to detail, creative problem-solvingMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an engineering, business or equivalent field experience5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry and knowledge of CAD, CAM, digital factory3+ years of experience in industrial software or other software industryProven ability to autonomously drive projects forward within a large organization with globally distributed teamsExcellent and proven English language skillsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of SaaS business and leading-edge technology (e.g. AI)MBA or comparable advanced degreeExperience in a strategic capacity as part of either strategy, go-to-market, product management, business development or related roles within the software or high-tech industry or in management consultingExcellent interpersonal skills required in order to build success in a highly matrixed organizationProven ability to lead and influence as part of a geographically dispersed global organizationWillingness and ability to travel internationally#LI - MB1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
