Reed Accountancy Practice are working on behalf of a rapidly growing professional services firm seeking an experienced Accounts and Business Services Manager/ Senior Manager to lead their Business Services team in Newcastle.This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for pod performance, client delivery, and team development, working closely with the Director to support continued growth.The RoleManage and develop a varied portfolio of clientsReview complex management accounts, VAT returns (including cross-border and partial exemption)Oversee work for larger, audited entitiesReview statutory accounts and ensure timely year-end adjustmentsAct as a senior technical lead and main client contactLead, mentor, and develop a growing teamWork collaboratively with Audit and Personal Tax teamsIdentify process improvements and cross-selling opportunitiesSupport the Business Services Director with ad-hoc projects and client managementAbout YouACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified Strong practice experience managing client portfoliosExcellent knowledge of Xero, Sage, cloud accounting and VATConfident dealing with HMRC and complex VAT matters (including postponed VAT accounting)Solid statutory accounts experienceA proactive leader with strong communication and organisational skillsWhat''s on OfferHybrid and flexible workingPrivate medical insurance and health cash planPension and life assuranceGenerous holiday entitlement (increasing with progression)Excellent career development and ..... full job details .....
