Business Manager - Local Government Nottinghamshire Full Time, Permanent 36 Hours per Week Salary: 40,000 - 43,000 per annum + Excellent Pension and Holiday BenefitsWe are recruiting for an experienced Business Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, financial management and governance within a local government environment.This is a varied role combining operational management, financial oversight, council administration and external funding applications.We are particularly interested in candidates with experience within a local authority, council or public sector environment, ideally with knowledge of grant applications, funding bids and securing external funding for projects and initiatives.The RoleOverseeing daily operations, ensuring services and administrative functions run efficiently and comply with relevant legislation.Providing professional advice on governance, policies, procedures and statutory responsibilities.Managing financial records, expenditure, reporting and an annual budget of approximatelyIdentifying external funding opportunities, researching grants and preparing funding bids and applications to support projects and initiatives.Managing and motivating a team of eight employees, ensuring effective performance and service delivery.Working closely with key stakeholders to implement decisions, support strategic planning and future development.Building positive relationships with local authorities, businesses, community organisations and external ..... full job details .....
