Key Skills Power BI - report development, dashboards and visualisation DAX - measures and calculated columns SQL/T-SQL - querying and data manipulation Data Modelling - preferably Star Schema Power Query/M Understanding of ETL/data integration Good understanding of data quality and BI best practice Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Desirable Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse experience Azure Data Factory or Synapse Python/PySpark Data Warehousing Medallion Architecture Experience improving or developing existing BI environments Exposure to metadata-driven data solutions Microsoft certification in Power BI/Fabric Financial Services Financial Services experience is desirable, particularly experience working with complex data, reporting or regulatory requirements.
