Business Development Support Manager

The role will support the Business Development Director (BDD)delivering assigned aspects of the Business Development/Commercial plan across numerous work streams. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in Business Development.The individual should demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to evolving within the Business Development domain, aiming towards assuming the role of a Business Development Director in the future.What you''ll be doing:
Account Plans - RetentionSupport client engagement plans, including communication planning and meetings content and calendar.Support client surveys and the implementation of action plans.Develop compelling and visually engaging presentations for client meetings, showcasing our offerings and value propositions, liaising with key stake holders to support content.Assist the completion of contract variations, including coordinating review with Legal and the BDDsService/ Innovation ProjectsBuild effective internal relationships within SSP and support BDDs to act on collaborative opportunities (e.g., extension of Brands, production of Branded product portfolio)Support with existing and new client innovation projectsTendersAssist BDDs in the compilation and organization of data for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain library materials for tenders and ensure standard templates, processes and task allocation are up to date for tender activity.Work collaboratively across internal functions to prepare and evolve business cases assessing new opportunitiesSupport BDD with presentations and analysis of tender documentsNote taking of briefs for external and internal actions; NPD, Purchasing, Commercial, Supply Chain,Support Channel BDD in finalising contractsKey Working RelationshipsSSP Commercial TeamSSP Finance teamsSSP Legal TeamSSP Projects TeamSSP Concept Development TeamSSP Operations Team including Central OpsTo be successful in this role you will need:
Essential:Proven experience in administrative management, showcasing organisational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, capable of creating compelling presentations and handling data efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.A proactive approach with a keen interest in business development, aspiring to progress within the field.SSP is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
