Business Development ManagerEdinburgh /HybridCompetitive SalaryVIQU have partnered with a leading company within the energy industry who are seeking a Business Development Manager to promote sales in the Transmission and Distribution (TandD) and Renewables sector. This role requires occasional travel throughout Scotland.Duties of the Business Development Manager: Achieve agreed sales targets for new business within the TandD and renewable energy market.Develop a sales and growth strategy for the business, identifying viable market segments and customers to target.Work with all departments in the company, to develop effective matrix management working, embedding governance of bids, resource and risk management.Promote the company s growth throughout Scotland. Requirements of the Business Development Manager: Previous experience of developing new business within the TandD or renewables sector.Sales or technical experience with: SCS/Protection Systems/PLC/SCADA/DCS/ Telemetry systems.Deep understanding of the TandD industry.Ability to build and develop strong relationships with customers.Understand the principles of matrix management.
