Business Development Manager

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across all areas of freight forwarding. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing their own customer portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business across all freight forwarding services.Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to securing new business.Work closely with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service and account retention.Deliver positive commercial results, with an expectation of generating a return within the first two months.Essential RequirementsProven track record as a Business Development Manager within the freight forwarding industry.Strong knowledge of all aspects of freight forwarding.Existing client portfolio and the ability to bring business with you.Demonstrable history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Self-motivated, commercially driven, and capable of working independently.PackageSalary up to £45,000 (depending on experience)Uncapped commission structureCar allowanceCompany phone and laptopOpportunity to join a growing freight forwarding business with nationwide flexibility. ..... full job details .....
