Business Development Manager - Technical Sales

Location: Home-based, with national travel. Ideally located in or around Milton Keynes, Northampton, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans or Stevenage.

Salary: Up to -50,000 basic + uncapped commission
Contract: Permanent, full-time

Your opportunity

You''ll be trusted to develop your territory and create a strong balance of new business and account growth.

You will:

• Identify and win new business opportunities
• Develop existing accounts and increase their value
• Meet customers and understand their operational challenges
• Promote vehicle safety and vision systems
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations
• Recommend tailored technical solutions
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business
• Manage your own diary, sales pipeline and CRM activity
• Work closely with internal teams to provide the right solution for each customer

You''ll need a proven track record in B2B field sales and business development, ideally selling technical products or solutions into one or more of the following sectors:

• Plant machinery or construction equipment
• Materials handling
• HGV and commercial vehicle fleets
• Passenger vehicle fleets
• Bus and coach
• Automotive aftermarket
• Commercial automotive products
• Industrial or off-highway equipment

You''ll be commercially driven, confident developing new business and skilled at building lasting customer relationships.

This is a home-based role involving regular customer visits and national travel. You should therefore be comfortable managing a large geographical territory and hold a full UK driving licence.
