Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding Our client is a well-established independent Freight Forwarder that has been trading for over 40 years. During that time, they have built an excellent reputation within the industry and developed a business where personal relationships genuinely matter. They are now looking for an experienced Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager with a genuine hunter mentality who can identify, develop and win profitable new customers. This is very much a sales-focused role. Once new business is won, a dedicated operations and customer service team will manage the day-to-day account requirements, allowing the BDM to remain focused on developing relationships, building pipeline and winning new business. Business Development Manager - Position Remuneration Basic salary: £45,000-£55,000, dependent on experience 5-7% commission on gross profit Company car allowance Home-based / field-based role Business Development Manager - Position Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for: Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the freight forwarding market. Generating their own leads and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline. Winning profitable new customers through a consultative and solutions-led approach.
