Business Development Manager - Space

An established technology business is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the space and satellite market. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys selling complex, technical solutions and working closely with customers and internal technical teams to develop the right solution for their requirements. Responsibilities:As a business development manager you will Develop new business across the UK defence and space market. Build and manage relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders. Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities from initial engagement through to contract. Work closely with technical teams to understand customer requirements and develop suitable solutions. Lead proposals, bids and commercial negotiations. Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business. Attend customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions to build the network and generate opportunities. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting. Requirements:As a business development manager, you will need Proven experience in defence, aerospace, engineering or another technical B2B environment. Strong track record in business development or consultative sales. Comfortable selling complex products, services or solutions. Able to build relationships at technical, commercial and senior levels.
