Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to work on a permanent basis in the Ashton Under Lyne area. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who has a strong background in enginering. Any expeirence working in fabrication/CNC environments would be advantagous but not essential. Salary is c 50-80,000 per annum (depending on experince) plus company vehicle/allowance plus 25 days'' holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, healthcaree etc Main Duties for the Business Development Manager: Prepare and coordinate commercial proposals and detailed quotations alongside Business Directors and Estimators. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities aligned with core manufacturing capabilities. Manage, retain, and scale strategic key accounts across target sectors. Drive business development initiatives, including representing the company at major industry events and exhibitions. Acquire new clients through proactive prospecting, targeted outreach, and sector networking. Collaborate with internal operational teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong technical background with extensive product knowledge of large CNC machining and fabrications. Confident ability to interpret complex technical drawings and engineering specifications.
