Business Development Manager - Fire and Security Location: Newcastle and Northeast (Field-based, Hybrid)Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 basic + uncapped commission Company car or car allowance Pension scheme Phone and Laptop 25 days holiday (increasing from a base of 20) Hybrid working model The RoleAn excellent opportunity exists for a proactive Business Development Manager to join a national provider of fire and security solutions. This role focuses on the vibrant SME market across Newcastle and the Northeast region.You will be responsible for generating new business while nurturing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts. The core focus is on the sale of maintenance contracts and small works projects, providing essential protection services to a diverse commercial client base.Key Responsibilities Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities within the SME market across your Newcastle and Northeast territory. Manage and develop an existing book of client accounts, ensuring high retention and identifying growth opportunities. Sell fire and security maintenance contracts, service agreements, and small works projects. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key specifiers. Develop a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close. Represent the company professionally in the field and contribute to team goals.
