Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the company’s business growth across consultancy, marketing, and international trade sectors. The role will focus on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and leading strategic expansion initiatives in line with Secosta’s long-term objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Business Strategy & Growth
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within consultancy, marketing, marine services, and global mobility sectors.
* Develop and implement growth strategies to expand Secosta’s market presence in the UK and internationally.
Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Deliver tailored solutions to clients by understanding their business needs and offering Secosta’s expertise.
International Trade & Sourcing
* Lead projects related to international sourcing of products and equipment, particularly in e-commerce and agribusiness sectors.
* Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements with suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
Marketing & Branding
* Develop and oversee marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, SEO initiatives, and content development.
* Contribute to Secosta’s online presence through innovative branding and marketing activities.
Research & Analysis
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas of opportunity.
* Prepare business reports, forecasts, and financial projections for strategic decision-making.
Leadership & Representation
* Represent Secosta at trade fairs, conferences, and networking events both in the UK and abroad.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
Skills and Competencies
* Proven track record in business development, international trade, and consultancy.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
* Knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce, and branding.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Cross-cultural awareness and experience in international business relations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Master’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree).
* Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience in business development, consultancy, or international trade.
* Experience in managing client portfolios and developing business strategies for international markets.
* Familiarity with UK and international business practices, particularly within consultancy and trade sectors.
