Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - Waste & Recycling

SENIOR, WASTE AND RECYCLING SECTOR EXPERIENCED, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER REQUIRED TO DELIVER NEW CLIENTS SLOWLY TRANSITIONING TO A 50/50 ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ROLE OVER TIME, AND FURTHER POTENTIAL TO GROW AND MANAGER A SALES TEAM UNDERNEATH ONCE ESTABLISHED

TITLE: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - Waste & Recycling

SALARY: Negotiable, circa £55-75K plus Car/ Allowance & uncapped Commission 

LOCATION: National role

PREVIOUS ROLES IN WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING MAY HAVE BEEN: Senior Field Sales Executive, Skip Hire Sales Manager, Total Waste Management BDM, Corporate Business Development Manager, Regional Business Development Manager, Senior Business Development Manager – Construction & Demolition Waste, Materials Sourcer, Metals Trader Waste Plastics Buyer, Commercial Manager – Paper Recycling, Commodities Trader, National Sales Manager, Waste Broker, Plastics Recycling. 

ROLE: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - Waste & Recycling

You will look to deliver in £1m+ of new waste & recycling services contracts / ad hoc work a year

You will be open to travel and be comfortable selling at both SME and corporate level

You will oversee tendering processes 

EXPERIENCE: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - Waste & Recycling

You will be a well-established in a senior commercial role within the waste & recycling sector focussed on new business sales, delivering a minimum of £800K per year. 

You will have a UK driving licence
