Business Development Manager - Rail Engineering Location: Scotland - Glasgow Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 DOE + Commission Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Sector: Rail / Rolling Stock Clemtech Recruitment is supporting an established rail engineering business looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support its continued growth across Scotland. This is a commercially focused position requiring someone with a strong understanding of rail production environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships across the Scottish rail market, identifying new opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline of work. The role could suit an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in rail production, or someone who has worked within a rolling stock production, maintenance, overhaul or depot environment and is looking to move into a commercially focused role. The Role Working closely with senior leadership, you will take a proactive approach to developing new business opportunities across Scotland. You will spend time in the market, meeting rail organisations, developing relationships and gaining an understanding of their current and upcoming production requirements. Your production experience will allow you to understand how rail maintenance and production environments operate, recognise potential opportunities and develop initial conversations into genuine business opportunities.
