Role and Responsibilities Support the development and delivery of firm-wide and departmental business development strategies, ensuring objectives align with overall growth plans. Work closely with partners and fee earners to identify and develop cross selling and upselling opportunities across practice areas. Support client relationship leads in managing key client relationships and driving growth within priority sectors. Assist partners and fee earners in maximising client opportunities through research, preparation of client intelligence, participation in meetings where appropriate, and opportunity tracking. Conduct market and competitor analysis to assess positioning, identify differentiation opportunities, and highlight areas for growth. Manage and support responses to tenders, bids, and proposals, including drafting, coordination, and submission. Develop and maintain best-practice proposal materials such as service descriptions, credentials, client and matter lists, and award summaries. Identify, coordinate, and evaluate speaking opportunities at conferences and seminars, supporting the development of compelling content. Track and report on business development activity across the firm to measure impact and inform future strategy. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to maximise business development opportunities and ensure a coordinated approach.
