Salary: Circa -55,000 per annum + -7,200 Car Allowance (-600 per month) + Monthly Commission

Office Angels are delighted to be partnering with an established and growing technology business based in Sheffield to recruit a Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives on winning new business and enjoys building relationships with prospective clients across a variety of industries.

This is a predominantly remote / field based role, with occasional travel to the Sheffield office, networking events, and client sites. Some international travel will be required.

As Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities. You''ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing relationships with prospective customers and promoting innovative technology solutions.

This is a true new business role, ideal for somebody who enjoys opening doors, generating opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

• Identifying and generating new business opportunities across your territory.
• Developing and executing targeted prospecting strategies.
• Building a strong pipeline through cold outreach and lead generation activities.
• Engaging prospective clients via:
  • Telephone calls
  • Email campaigns
  • LinkedIn and social selling
  • Networking opportunities
  • Industry events and exhibitions
  • Referrals and market research
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and closing.
• Conducting client meetings both virtually and face-to-face.
• Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Essential:

• Previous experience in a cold business development or new business sales role.
• Demonstrable success in winning and developing new client relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Desirable:

• Experience selling technology, software, SaaS, IT services, or other technology-led solutions.
• Previous experience operating within the tech sector.
• Experience using LinkedIn and other digital channels as part of a business development strategy.

• Circa -55,000 basic salary.
• -7,200 annual car allowance (-600 per month).
