An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading UK electronics manufacturing provider based in North England - our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance and develop customer relationships, drive business growth, and lead new business development across North England. Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager based in North England:Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities across target markets, with a 60% focus on hunting new customers and 40% on key account managementBuild and manage a strong sales pipeline focused on PCB assembly, contract manufacturing, surface mount, box build, and sheet metal servicesExpand relationships with existing customers to maximise business potential across design, production, and quality divisionsCollaborate closely with Estimating and Production teams to ensure competitive, timely quotes and customer satisfactionRespond promptly to sales enquiries and follow up proactivelyCoordinate business development efforts across all group divisions and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationshipsProvide regular updates on prospects and projects to senior management, including opportunity tracking, sales forecasting, and CRM maintenanceDeliver monthly and quarterly sales KPIs and contribute to sales strategy and growth plansOperate independently managing a remote territory covering North England (north of Stafford) and south of Scotland, with hybrid/remote working arrangements Skills and experience ..... full job details .....
