We''re recruiting for an established specialist distributor within the IT infrastructure market, supplying fibre, structured cabling, connectivity and associated solutions into major projects across the UK.They''re looking for a commercially ambitious Business Development Manager who can take ownership of key relationships, understand where major projects are developing and position the business at the heart of those opportunities.The OpportunityYou''ll work across the full infrastructure supply chain - building relationships with manufacturers, distributors, installers, system integrators and end users.You''ll have the autonomy to:Develop and grow strategic customer accountsIdentify major infrastructure projects at an early stageBuild strong relationships with key manufacturers and suppliersDevelop installer and system integrator partnershipsUnderstand the commercial landscape around each projectOwn and manage a meaningful project pipelineWork closely with internal sales to convert opportunities into profitable growthThis is relationship-led, intelligent business development.
