Business Development Manager

Job Purpose To drive the growth of sales by leading business development initiatives, managing key customer relationships and consistently delivering on sales targets. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding market presence, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring high standards of customer service and account management where necessary. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Market Development Develop and implement sales plans aligned with company objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic (and international ) markets. Gather and analyse market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product positioning and development. Report on competitor activity and market trends. Business Development and Sales Execution Prepare and oversee quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals. Plan and execute field sales trips for business development purposes, managing costs and ensuring efficient use of time and resource. Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to regular sales reporting. Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Technical, Production, Marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction. Prepare and submit sales forecasts, plans, and reports as required. Account Management and Customer Engagement Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and partners.
