Business Development Manager Location: Home-based / Travelling to sites/ offices across UK / London office when required Salary: Competitive + package Employment Type: Permanent Sector: Water / Wastewater / Environmental Engineering Note- The role is predominantly home-based and candidates do not need to live in Reading. Regular travel will be required, primarily across Southern England and occasionally to the Client''s H/O in London. We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager/ Sales Manager to join a growing engineering and technology business operating within the UK water and wastewater sector. This is a senior commercial role focused on identifying, developing and securing new business across the UK. Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider technical team, you will develop relationships with water companies, Tier 1 contractors, consultants and other key industry stakeholders. The role is a hybrid position, majority of the time being home based (anywhere in the UK), with regular travel to meet clients and develop new opportunities. Additional occasional travel to the London office. The Role As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of the full business development and sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to client engagement, proposals, negotiation and contract award.
