Brief role description

The Business Development manager will play a pivotal role driving the acquisition of high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships and funding agreements that deliver meaningful shared value for the organisation and its partners. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, the postholder will identify and secure new income opportunities, develop compelling partnership propositions and oversee stewardship, renewals and growth opportunities.The role is responsible for building a strong pipeline of perspective funders and partners, managing relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to the achievement of ambitious income generation targets.-

Who we''re looking for

We are looking for an experienced business development professional with a strong track record of securing long-term partnerships and driving income growth. You will have experience managing income pipelines, targets and forecasts, alongside a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop compelling propositions and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.-

You will be an excellent communicator with strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, and will be comfortable engaging senior decision-makers. You will also have experience in prospect research, networking and CRM systems.-

You will bring a proactive, enterpreneurial approach, by highly self-motivated and comfortable working towards ambitious targets. As a collaborative and solutions-focused professional, you will be capable of managing competing deadlines while supporting the development of others and contributing to the wider objectives of the Income Generation team.-
