Business Development Manager - Engineering Services

Good at getting in front of people? Know how to build relationships and turn conversations into business?

We''re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to win new clients and develop existing relationships for an established engineering consultancy.

This is a proper, hands-on sales role. You''ll be out meeting clients, identifying opportunities and building relationships that lead to new projects.

It''s not a desk-based telesales role.

The Role

• Identifying and winning new business across construction, property and engineering

• Meeting developers, architects, contractors and other potential clients

• Building long-term relationships and generating repeat business

• Identifying upcoming projects and securing opportunities

• Working with technical colleagues to develop proposals

• Managing your own pipeline and sales activity

What We''re Looking For

• Proven face-to-face B2B sales experience

• Confidence arranging and attending client meetings

• A track record of winning new business

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

• Commercial drive and the ability to work independently

• Experience selling into construction, engineering or property would be particularly useful

You''ll have the backing of an established technical team, plenty of scope to develop new relationships and commission on the business you generate.
