We are currently recruiting for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a highly respected civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, based in the Central Belt. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth and shape the future of a well-established business.
As Business Development Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across rail, civil engineering, and infrastructure markets.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
* Lead on bid strategies, presentations, and tender submissions.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals and tailored solutions.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to drive long-term growth.
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven track record in business development within construction, civil engineering, or related sectors.
* Strong network across infrastructure and public sector frameworks (rail experience advantageous).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset.
* Results-driven with the ability to deliver growth targets.
