Business Development Manager (Construction)

Nantwich / Nationwide (UK Travel)

£40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £120,000+) + Uncapped Commission + Vehicle + Progression

Are you a commercially driven Business Development professional with experience in construction, industrial services, or facilities management, looking for an opportunity to build and scale a new division from the ground up?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, profitable business launching a new Construction & Industrial division, targeting warehouses, distribution centres, and industrial environments. This is a key strategic hire with full ownership to grow a new revenue stream and shape the future of the business.

In this role, you will develop and execute a business development strategy, generate new opportunities through outreach and site visits, and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers. You will also play a hands-on role in the early stages, supporting operations, advising on processes, and helping establish the division.

This role would suit a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or Commercial Manager from a construction, industrial, or FM background, looking for a high-impact role with progression into Head of Division and the opportunity to build a team.

The Role

• Develop and grow a new construction & industrial business unit
• Generate pipeline through outreach, networking, and site visits
• Win new business and manage proposals, quotes, and tenders
• Support early-stage operations and site delivery
• Nationwide role (based near Nantwich)

The Person

• Proven experience in construction, industrial, or FM environments
• Strong track record of winning new business
• Hands-on understanding of site-based work (concrete, flooring, etc.)
• Commercially driven with strong relationship-building skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
