Business Development Manager - Construction Location: Portland, Dorset Sector: Maritime and Defence Salary: Up to 65,000 Plus Commission and Benefits Holt Engineering is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a growing and ambitious organisation operating within the construction sector. This is a strategic and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to lead the development of new business opportunities from early engagement through to contract award. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future project pipeline, supporting business growth and helping secure a range of technically complex construction projects. The position sits at the heart of the bid and business development function, working closely with technical, commercial and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop winning strategies and deliver high-quality tender submissions. The Role Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifying, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the construction sectorDeveloping and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective projectsManaging opportunities through all stages of the sales and bid processLeading bid activities including PQQs, RFQs, ITTs and RFPsCoordinating multi-disciplinary teams to produce compelling tender submissionsSupporting commercial reviews, risk assessments and pricing strategiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholdersAttending client meetings, ..... full job details .....
