Business Development Manager (Appointment Based)

Salary: £35k - £45k (OTE £70 - £90K)Location: Field-based roleWorking pattern: Full-timeJob Summary: We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to convert pre-qualified appointments into new merchant accounts. The successful candidate will conduct consultative sales meetings, identify client needs, and present tailored payment solutions to achieve and exceed sales targets.Key Responsibilities:Attend pre-booked appointments with prospective merchants. Generate cold leads when required and closeConduct needs assessments and recommend suitable payment solutions. Deliver professional sales presentations and demonstrations. Build strong relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers. Negotiate terms and close new business agreements. Maintain accurate records of meetings, opportunities, and sales activity in the CRM system. Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets. Requirements:Proven experience in merchant services, payment solutions, or B2B sales. Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to manage and convert a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
