Business Development Manager

HYBRID OPPORTUNITY

Derby/Nottingham Care Company is looking to recruit a commercially focused Business Development Manager to support with their growth plans. Our client has grown considerably throughout 2026 with further plans to increase their portfolio in 2027. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with Local Authorities and Care Boards. This is a permanent fulltime hybrid positon and offering a basic of up to -50,000 + Benefits

Duties:

• You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Local Authority and ICB commissioners, housing partners, case managers and other key stakeholders
• Generating referral pipelines
• Maintaining clear pipeline information and reporting progress against KPIs
• Working with operational, quality and finance team
• Managing relationships and performance against agreed targets
• Supporting with tender and proposal opportunities

About You

• Due to the nature of the role only candidates with Care experience will be considered for the position
• Current or previous Care experience as either a Business Development Manager or Customer Relations Manager
• Proven business development experience
• Strong lead generation experience
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Experience working with Local Authority
• Commercial awareness
