About the Role
A Business Development Executive is required by Pertemps Redditch Commercial to cover a patch from Sheffield to Peterborough and North Norfolk. This full-time, home-based position offers a salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance and bonus. The role involves managing a varied portfolio of commercial clients, building strong relationships, and supporting new business activity. Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the growth of the commercial division. Regular monthly visits to the Head Office in Rubery are required. Proven commercial insurance experience is essential for this role.
Commercial Account Executive
Covering the Sheffield to Peterborough and North Norfolk patch home-based but required to visit the Head office at Rubery at least once a month.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing client relationships, supporting new business activity, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the commercial division.
Commercial Account Executive key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial and mid-market clients
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and understanding their evolving insurance requirements
- Delivering high levels of service and tailored insurance solutions
- Supporting new business opportunities and contributing to business growth
- Working closely with internal service teams to ensure efficient onboarding and ongoing account management
- Supporting the development and management of affinity partnerships
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners
- Providing technical and operational support to colleagues where required
- Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Commercial Insurance
- Proven experience managing a commercial book of business
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
- Experience working within a sales and customer-focused environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Acturis
- Progress towards CII qualifications
