About The RoleThe Role As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting and winning new business opportunities across the West Sussex area. Working alongside the Regional Sales Manager and Field Account Managers, you''ll develop strategic sales plans, engage prospective customers and convert opportunities into long-term profitable partnerships.You will be passionate about sales, commercially astute and determined to outperform the competition while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities Revenue Generation Deliver the regional new business sales strategy in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager and Field Account Managers. Identify and target new customers, winning business from competitors. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth across your territory. Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue performance. Represent Wastekit and phs professionally with prospective customers. Focus on the quality and effectiveness of sales activity to maximise results. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records using CRM systems. Continuous Improvement Proactively identify opportunities to improve sales processes and ways of working. Analyse challenges, identify root causes and contribute solutions. Share best practice and drive continuous improvement across the sales team. Customer and Sales Excellence Champion a customer-first approach in everything you do.
