Logistics Business ControllerLocation: Broughton - OnsiteContract until Dec 2026 - Inside IR35Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm)Rates: 29.00/hr Umbrella or 21.68/hr PAYEOvertime: Paid over 35 hrs (% Mon-Fri, % Sat-Sun) The OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced Logistics Business Controller to support financial planning, performance analysis and decision-making within a complex operational environment. Key responsibilities include: Plan and challenge : Understand the business operational environment (strategy, governance, challenges, constraints).Lead the preparation of the financial planning, prepare accurate forecasts.Develop and run financial models, simulations, scenarios, business cases (on projects, MandA, call for tenders) Anticipate financial risks and opportunities and advise on mitigation strategies. Analyse and advise: Produce and Assess accurate financial reporting, Analyse cost base, revenues, unit costs (Airframe / Engine), RandD. Anticipate financial risks, opportunities and advise on mitigation strategies. Support execution and ensure data quality: Compute Hourly Rate, Headcount targets definition, prepare Chargeback and Cost reallocation models. Approve shopping carts, audit POs below approval thresholds (sampling approach), review commitments and accruals. Trigger costs rebooking and costs transfer when needed.
