Role: Business ConsultantLocation: Dunstable (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite) Type: Contract (Outside IR35) Duration: 3 months The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant/Analyst to join a high-performing AI delivery team supporting a major hospitality and retail transformation programme. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and technology delivery, helping shape and validate AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value for customers, operations, and commercial performance. Working within a cross-functional delivery cell, you will act as the primary business-value and discovery lead, ensuring every proof-of-value and AI initiative is driven by business outcomes rather than technology alone.As the Business Consultant, you will work closely with Delivery Managers, Engineers, Product stakeholders, and business teams to define problems, shape hypotheses, establish success metrics, and evaluate outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will play a critical role in gathering requirements, interpreting business feedback and operational data, and ensuring key delivery decisions are supported by clear evidence and measurable value. Unlike a traditional Business Analyst, this role requires strong AI literacy, commercial thinking, and the ability to operate effectively within modern agile engineering teams.
