Job Title: ESS Business Consultant

Location: London or Warwick UK

Duration: 6 months

Pay: -500600 per day

Work Type: Hybrid

Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for driving change and delivering impactful solutions? Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Engineering sector, is seeking a Business Consultant to join their Engineering Support Services (ESS) team. This is an incredible opportunity to lead end-to-end project delivery while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to shape a clean, fair, and affordable energy future!

What You''ll Do:

As a Business Consultant, you will be at the forefront of project execution, with responsibilities that include:

Business Identification & Engagement:

  • utilise your technical expertise to enhance performance across key service lines.
  • Build strong relationships with Business Units (BUs) to identify value-adding opportunities.
  • Facilitate discussions to understand business needs and transformation goals.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with delivery partners and stakeholders to craft tailored solutions.
  • Lead the development of proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with objectives.
  • Present proposals to secure stakeholder buy-in.

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead blueprinting sessions to define project objectives and success criteria.
  • Develop robust project plans that include risk management and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Collaboration & Team Leadership:

  • Inspire and lead the delivery team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to optimise outcomes.
  • Conduct post-delivery reviews to evaluate success and gather feedback.

What We''re Looking For:

  • A degree or Master''s level education (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery within a complex regulatory environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic priorities.
  • Technical knowledge in any of the ESS key service lines and a solid understanding of change management approaches.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in proposal development and project planning, preferably in utilities.
  • Project Management certification is desirable.
