Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Engineering sector, is seeking a Business Consultant to join their Engineering Support Services (ESS) team. What You''ll Do:
As a Business Consultant, you will be at the forefront of project execution, with responsibilities that include:
Business Identification & Engagement:
- utilise your technical expertise to enhance performance across key service lines.
- Build strong relationships with Business Units (BUs) to identify value-adding opportunities.
- Facilitate discussions to understand business needs and transformation goals.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with delivery partners and stakeholders to craft tailored solutions.
- Lead the development of proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with objectives.
- Present proposals to secure stakeholder buy-in.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead blueprinting sessions to define project objectives and success criteria.
- Develop robust project plans that include risk management and resource allocation.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Collaboration & Team Leadership:
- Inspire and lead the delivery team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to optimise outcomes.
- Conduct post-delivery reviews to evaluate success and gather feedback.
What We''re Looking For:
- A degree or Master''s level education (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery within a complex regulatory environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic priorities.
- Technical knowledge in any of the ESS key service lines and a solid understanding of change management approaches.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Experience in proposal development and project planning, preferably in utilities.
- Project Management certification is desirable.
