Our client is currently searching for a Business Change Readiness Leader to join their team in Gloucester. Within this role, you would be responsible for ensuring organisational readiness and adoption of change relating to their ERP implementation programme.

This position involves implementing the change readiness strategy and collaborating with business wide stakeholders to ensure successful transition.

Responsibilities:

  • Change readiness execution: Implement the change readiness plan, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared for the ERP system transition through to cutover.
  • Business Cutover Management: Finalise, get approval, and manage the business cutover plans, ensuring all tasks completed at appropriate times leading to a seamless transition from legacy system to the new ERP system. To include data reconciliation and sign off.
  • Support End User Training: Manage team to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions are completed ready for training and lesson plans are in place. Collaborate with training teams to ensure end users receive effective training and are equipped to use the new ERP system.
  • Hypercare Support: provide post-implementation support during the hypercare phase, addressing issues, monitoring system performance and ensuring business operations return to green status.
  • Back-to-Green Key Performance Indicators Monitoring (KPIs): Establish and track KPIs to monitor the stabilisation of business processes and systems post-implementation to achieve the goal of resuming operations on time and without disruption.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, project managers, business leaders, and vendors/consultants to ensure alignment and support throughout the ERP project.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks and resistance to change, ensuring smooth adoption of the ERP system.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as required to support change management and the successful go-live of the new ERP system, including but not limited to stakeholder communication, issue resolution and process documentation.

Experience / Knowledge Required:

  • Proven program management experience and ability to deliver programs on time and on cost ensuring safety and quality are never compromised.
  • Proven experience in change management, ERP implementation or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their impact on business processes (Oracle experience desired).
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and tools to support process improvement during implementation (preferred).
  • Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries (preferred).
