Brentwood, Essex (Hybrid) | Full-timeWe’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Portfolio and Programme Management team and play a pivotal role in shaping transformation across our organisation. You’ll work at the heart of change—partnering with senior leaders, delivery teams, and external stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that truly move the needle.Why this role mattersAs a Business Analyst, you’ll be driving business transformation initiatives—translating complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. From defining requirements and mapping processes, to supporting the delivery of our Target Operating Model (TOM), your work will directly contribute to the strategic direction of the business.What you’ll be doingElicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.Conduct gap analysis to compare current state processes with TOM objectives.Support the design and implementation of TOM, including business capabilities and process flows.Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to inform decision-making.Contribute to change management activities, including training, communications, and business readiness.Track KPIs and success measures to evaluate TOM effectiveness.Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards across insurance operations.Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring risks, blockers and progress are clear and actionable.What we’re looking forProven experience as a Business Analyst within insurance (general, life, specialty, or reinsurance).Strong expertise in Target Operating Model design and implementation.Skilled in business process mapping, re-engineering, and optimisation.Knowledge of insurance products, distribution, claims and policy administration.Proficiency with analysis methodologies and tools (BPMN, UML, Agile, Waterfall).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage from operational teams through to executives.Relevant qualifications (IIBA, BCS, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.Who you areA strategic thinker with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.Comfortable working in complex, regulated environments.Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.Detail-driven, with strong documentation and presentation skills.QualificationsDegree in Business, Finance, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).Certified in Business Analysis.What we offerThe chance to work on high-impact transformation initiatives that shape the future of our business.Exposure to senior leadership and decision-making forums.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Competitive salary and benefits ..... full job details .....
