Plan and undertake requirements-gathering activities, including workshops, interviews, observations, surveys, document reviews and data analysis. Gather, analyse, document, prioritise and validate business, user, functional and non-functional requirements. Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules that can be understood by operational colleagues, technical specialists and suppliers. Maintain traceability between identified business needs, agreed requirements, delivered solutions and expected benefits. Manage changes to requirements, ensuring that their effects on scope, cost, timescale, risk and expected benefits are understood and communicated.
