Salary: £56,535
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Birmingham - hybrid, typically 1 day per week onsite
Pension: 14.5% employer contribution

We are supporting a large, complex organisation through a significant period of business and technology change and are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a senior, hands-on BA position with the opportunity to work across a range of strategic transformation initiatives. You will engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation, helping to understand business challenges, improve processes and translate strategic objectives into practical, deliverable change.

The role will suit someone who enjoys getting underneath how an organisation operates, challenging existing ways of working and helping shape solutions from the initial problem through to implementation.

The Role

As Senior Business Analyst, you will:

Lead business analysis across complex business and technology change initiatives.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, SMEs and delivery teams.
Facilitate workshops to understand business challenges, requirements and future needs.
Analyse and document As-Is processes and identify opportunities for improved To-Be processes.
Lead requirements elicitation, documentation, prioritisation, management and traceability.
Undertake stakeholder analysis and mapping across multiple business areas.
Support options appraisal, feasibility studies and the development of business cases.
Help define project scope, success criteria, MVP and definition of done.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, remove duplication and improve productivity.
Work closely with project teams, technology functions, suppliers, testing and implementation teams.
Support organisational change, business readiness and benefits realisation.
Manage BA activity across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

We need you to be able to demonstrate process improvement, requirements management, stakeholder analysis, organisational change and benefits realisation.

What We''re Looking For:

You will be an established Business Analyst with experience delivering change within a large or complex organisation.

You''ll ideally bring:

Significant experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst.
Strong business process mapping and improvement capability.
Excellent requirements gathering and requirements management experience.
Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders and SMEs.
Confidence engaging with and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working across both business and technology-led change.
Experience working with third-party suppliers and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
The ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
A relevant BA qualification, degree or equivalent practical experience.
