Overview
Business Analyst with London Insurance Market expertise to join a high-performing change team for a large specialty insurer. You will play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of new platforms, products, and enhancements – shaping requirements, managing backlogs, and ensuring business value is delivered throughout the lifecycle.Key Responsibilities
Engage with underwriters and senior business stakeholders to understand pain points, gather requirements, and translate these into clear user stories and acceptance criteriaAct as a Product Owner in agile squads where appropriate, managing and prioritising the product backlog to ensure delivery aligns with strategic objectivesFacilitate workshops, interviews, and journey mapping sessions to elicit requirements and identify business valueWork with technical teams and solution architects to ensure feasibility and alignment with broader system architectureSupport UAT, including test case definition, coordination, and defect resolutionCollaborate with Change, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery and stakeholder communicationMaintain a strong understanding of Lloyd’s, company market, and delegated authority processesRequired Experience
Extensive experience working in the London Insurance Market, ideally within a syndicate or carrier environmentProven background as a Business Analyst, with a strong grasp of policy lifecycle, underwriting, and risk dataDemonstrable experience acting as a Product Owner, ideally in agile/iterative delivery modelsStrong stakeholder engagement skills – especially working with underwriters and underwriting operationsSkilled in writing Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance CriteriaFamiliar with digital transformation, data-driven solutions, and system migration or integration projectsIf you feel you have the relevant skills and experience, please make an application.Seniority level
